The STMA Youth Box Lacrosse program runs through the Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL).  The program is co-ed, but will require players to wear helmets and full pads and is played with the boys rules which allow for contact and checking.

***You must have a US Lacrosse Membership valid through 1 May in order to registration. US Lacrosse links can be found on the registration pages. Cost till December 31st is $235. If jerseys are required, they can be ordered for $35. 

Participating youth teams play 6 regular season games throughout March & April at conveniently located regional indoor arenas.  Games run hourly on Saturdays and Sundays consist of three 15-minute periods.

The league provides the following for each game:  

    •    Certified UMLOA officials

    •    Certified EMT's equipped with AED's 

    •    Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers

    •    Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings.

Practice dates/times are TBD:

   - Practice Dates are usually weeknights between: February 24th - April 18th

   - Spring Field season begins 19 April

   - Locations: STMA Dome / Middle School gyms / Anoka Arena

Regular Season Games: Saturdays and Sundays, Mid-March 2019 - End of April 2019. Games run between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, on Saturdays and Sundays.

Game Locations: 

• Northeast: Centennial Ice Arena / Northeast Ice Arena (MPLS)

• Southeast: Hayes Ice Arena (Apple Valley) / Eagan Civic Arena

• Northwest: Anoka Ice Arena 

• Southwest: Hopkins Pavilion / Chaska Community Center / Delano Ice Arena

Divisions: 14U / 12U / 10U

*Price does not include uniforms.  2019, 2018 or 2017 STMA uniforms can be worn.

Eligibility: The league follows US Lacrosse age & eligibility guidelines. USL membership is required for all players and coaches.

• 14U - Grades 7th and 8th

• 12U - Grades 5th and 6th

• 10U - Grades 3rd and 4th
